Take Home Meal Service Features

Have you heard about our Take Home Meal Service yet?

Imagine coming home to a fridge full of ready to eat, pre-cooked meals! No more searching for recipes and supplies; no more unhealthy fast food as the only option; no pots to wash; and everyone in the family can have something different while you sit down to dinner together.

How it works:
Each week you simply place your order before the cutoff deadline of Friday night at midnight. We cook and prepare your meals for the following week and will either deliver them to you on the Monday or you come pick them up.

Your packaged meals will last up to 5-6 days so all you need to do is keep them in the refrigerator and then heat and serve on the day you want to have a delicious chef-prepared, home cooked meal!

If other plans come up and you have leftover meals, simply place them into the freezer and thaw when ready.

Our menu changes occasionally for something new to choose from plus there are senior options, side dishes and even meals for special occasions like Valentine’s Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Come and see what this week’s menu has to offer and place your order for next week! Click here for all the details.

A quick meal that’s good for you: Lentika

Just got in and don’t want to cook?

I decided on an old favourite of my wife Ines’: Lentika

Ready? Here it goes! You’ll need:

2 cloves of garlic
1 large leek
2 cans organic (doesn’t have to be) lentils
1 box Campbell’s no sodium chicken stock (if you don’t have some homemade in the fridge)

Instructions:
Sweat lentils and garlic with olive oil until softened
Add lentils and stock
Season with touch of basil and thyme
Simmer for 15 min
Check for salt and adjust pepper

While your waiting for the simmer — boil water and cook 1 cup tubetti pasta a la dente (small little tube shaped)
Rinse pasta and add to lentil mix
Cook for 5 min and Voila!

Shave fresh Parmesan over top and if you like a little kick, add a little crack chili

Lentika should be rather thick

Don’t forget some fresh bread (sorry low carb guys) Bon appetite
